Budget-Friendly Bliss: Free Wedding Planning Downloads

It can seem a bit daunting sometimes after you get engaged - lots of advice from all angles (some of it helpful, some of it...unique). A lot of advice for grand parts of your wedding (for example: musicians on plinths throughout your reception) can sound awe-inspiring but also cost an arm and a leg. Not to mention that with cossielives as it is right now, this economy isn't allowing a lot of wriggle room on what some might consider a must-have on their special day.

A study in 2021 found that 528 hours was needed to plan a wedding. That's on average! That's equivalent to a full extra 22 days of work - except your funds are moving out not in. Those hours are spent researching, making decisions, and trying to keep track of everything that needs to be organised, sorted and confirmed for the wedding. No wonder it can feel a bit overwhelming at times!

Have no fear, wedding planning templates are here. These can be super helpful in:

a) organising your budget for wedding planning

b) getting ideas for the nitty-gritty things that need to be organised (e.g. boutonnieres).

c) allowing you to tick off things in order of when they need to be completed.

Having a Excel or Google Sheets template like this can make planning a whole lot easier - and means you can filter out some advice depening on your up to date costing. It also helps you see where extravagance in your wedding can be afforded, and maybe where some costs can be saved.

A couple of my favourite free online templates have the links listed below:

Let me know any feedback on these spreadsheets too through the 'enquiry' button on my website. Best of luck and fun in your wedding planning with these handy templates! <3
